Wargame Forge Terrain

Earlier this month I partnered with Wargame Forge to print the awesome terrain that they design for the 6mm/8mm scale games. And it’s been a busy month.

What is one thing that gamers want but hate doing? Putting together and painting terrain. Everybody wants great looking terrain, but after building and painting an army, most people don’t have the time or desire to paint terrain.

I try to help in that area by providing terrain and will even paint it. I am burdened with glorious purpose – to help make boring gaming tables awesome.

So in the last three weeks I’ve printed more than 13 pounds of plastic.

Yeah, my poor printer hasn’t been turned off since I took it out of the box.

It actually takes a bit of work just getting the stuff onto the store. I need to prepare the files, print them, take pictures, prime/paint/finish, take more pictures, add text to the images, then list them on Etsy. So there is a bit of a backlog of what is coming.

My goal is to provide a variety of building sizes and heights. I’ve got a short building, a bunch of medium buildings, and a large building. On the paint backlog are more bigger buildings and a MASSIVE five part building. Here’s what is coming:

G058 – Large Gothic Building and ruin.

124mm (4.8 inches) tall. That’s twice as tall as Legion Imperialis Warhound titan.

G106 – Large Gothic Building

Another huge building. The Wargame Forge 100 series buildings are stupidly huge and have a bigger footprint.

G030 – Imperial Palace

The base for this is 139mm (5.5 inches).

G030 – Ruined Imperial Palace

Of course, you need a ruin for the Imperial Palace.

Imperial Senate Building

I haven’t even measured the base for this one yet, but it is about the size of four Imperial Palaces. That is a Warhound Titan standing beside it.

Sorry for the bad picture quality, but these are a work in progress.

So that is what’s on deck. After these, I plan on going back and getting different heights of the bigger based buildings and then hit up some of the cathedrals.

Until next time…
